World Environment Day 2025
Planting Peace, Preserving Nature
On this World Environment Day, the WorldLink CSR Team proudly carried out a heartfelt mission at the Gulmohor Garden in Lumbini—the sacred birthplace of Lord Gautam Buddha and one of Nepal’s most treasured religious and touristic sites.
With devotion to both nature and heritage, we planted 100 saplings of Gulmohar and Jacaranda along both sides of the canal, in front of the Little Buddha Corridor, leading the way to Shanti Deep (Lamp of Peace).
These trees are more than just saplings; they are seeds of hope.
Their shade will one day embrace visitors walking the serene aisle.
Their blossoms will add beauty, fragrance, and peace to every step.
We believe that even the small act of planting a tree has the power to change an environment, inspire a community, and create a legacy. By adding life to this sacred corridor, we wished to make every visitor’s journey more tranquil—walking in the embrace of flowering trees that reflect harmony with nature.
At WorldLink, our vision goes beyond connectivity—it extends to connecting people with the environment. Through initiatives like this, we reaffirm our commitment to conserve nature, protect heritage, and nurture peace for generations to come.
Because when we plant today, we gift tomorrow.
