World Environment Day 2024

03 Sep, 2025

#GenerationRestoration

This World Environment Day, WorldLink Communications joined hands with the community to take a small yet meaningful step towards restoring our planet. At the sacred grounds of Shree Santaneshwor Mahadev Temple—a revered Hindu religious site in the southeast of Kathmandu Valley—we planted 560 plants, including banana saplings and year-round flowering plants, symbolizing both life and continuity.

The initiative, was more than just a plantation drive. It was an act of devotion to nature, culture, and future generations. The path where these plants now grow is called Kadali Marga—derived from the Sanskrit word for “banana plant.” True to its name, this path is now lined with greenery that will continue to thrive for years to come, creating a natural corridor of life and hope.

What made this effort even more special was the collective spirit. The employees of our Dholahity branch, temple members, and local gardeners all came together with dedication in their hearts and hands in the soil. Their shared commitment ensured that this was not just a day of planting but the beginning of a promise to nurture and preserve.

🌱 Each sapling carries with it the belief that small actions can lead to great transformations.
🌱 Each flower represents a future filled with color, fragrance, and life.
🌱 Each tree planted is a step closer to restoring balance between humanity and nature.

At WorldLink, we believe that restoration begins with responsibility. By embracing #GenerationRestoration, we reaffirm our commitment to protect the environment, honor cultural heritage, and leave behind a greener legacy for the generations to come.

Together, let’s restore. Together, let’s grow.
