WorldLink Hosts Reusable Sanitary Pad Workshop on International Women’s Day
Lumbini, Nepal — On International Women’s Day, WorldLink Communications, in collaboration with Xpose Nepal, organized a workshop on reusable sanitary pads, promoting sustainable menstrual health and empowering women with skills for financial independence.
Anupa Bhandari Jalan, Director of CSR at WorldLink, shared her vision for economic sustainability, stating:
“Women have the power to create life, and empowering them first strengthens families, communities, and the nation. By equipping women with skills and resources, we can create a ripple effect of change.”
The event brought together dignitaries, local representatives, and community members, including:

The reusable sanitary pad workshop focused on creating awareness about eco-friendly menstrual products while providing women with practical skills for income generation. The initiative also emphasized reducing plastic waste, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment. The Mayor himself praised the program, supported it by purchasing reusable pads, and pledged continued local support.
