Key Responsibilities

  • Present and host video content for social media, TVCs, product launches, promotional campaigns, testimonials, and corporate communications
  • Deliver scripted and unscripted content confidently on camera, adapting tone and style to suit the platform and target audience
  • Work closely with scriptwriters, videographers, and the marketing/content team to understand briefs and bring scripts to life naturally
  • Memorise or work comfortably with autocue/teleprompter, cue cards, and shot lists during shoots
  • Conduct interviews with customers, employees, and stakeholders for testimonials, features, and event coverage
  • Anchor and host live or recorded coverage of company events, branch openings, product launches, and exhibitions — including those falling on weekends or public holidays

  • Collaborate with the marketing and content team to conceptualise video ideas, angles, and presentation styles aligned with campaign goals
  • Adapt delivery and content style for platform-specific formats (Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Maintain a consistent, professional, and brand-aligned on-screen persona across all content
  • Travel within and outside Kathmandu Valley for shoots as required
  • Be available to work on weekends, public holidays when campaign shoots, launches, or events demand it — substitute leave will be available.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related field (a strong on-camera showreel may offset a differing academic background)
  • Minimum 2–4 years of proven, hands-on experience as a video presenter, anchor, RJ/VJ, or on-camera host, preferably with an agency, media house, or corporate in-house marketing team
  • A strong, demonstrable showreel/portfolio of past on-camera presenting work
  • Excellent verbal communication, diction, and camera presence, with the ability to engage an audience naturally
  • Fluent in Nepali and English, spoken and written, with clear pronunciation in both
  • Comfortable working with scripts, autocue/teleprompter, and improvising when required
  • Basic understanding of video production workflow (framing, lighting, sound) to collaborate effectively with the videography team
  • Strong time-management skills to juggle multiple shoots/deadlines simultaneously
  • Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills
  • Prior experience in product demos, explainer videos, or telecom/ISP industry content is an advantage

Additional Requirements (Nepal-specific)

  • Valid driving licence, with own two-wheeler preferred for local shoot mobility
  • Comfortable travelling to district/branch offices outside Kathmandu Valley when required
  • Presentable, professional on-screen appearance and grooming suited to a corporate brand
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven marketing environment.
