Role Description:
We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Finance Manager with advanced data analytics capabilities for a full-time, on-site position based in Kathmandu, Nepal. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations
- Supervise regional finance operations with accountability for accuracy, timeliness, and strategic alignment
- Provide matrix leadership to Regional Finance team members through dotted-line reporting relationships
Revenue Optimization & Cost Management
- Drive strategic initiatives to accelerate revenue growth through analytical insights and financial modeling
- Identify, analyze, and implement cost efficiency improvements across all branches and regional offices
- Establish robust variance analysis processes to track performance against budgets and forecasts
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and tax obligations
- Maintain current knowledge of evolving regulatory landscape and implement necessary procedural updates
- Coordinate effectively with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
- Develop and maintain comprehensive internal controls and risk management frameworks
Technology & Finance Process Automation
- Champion the adoption of advanced financial technologies and automation tools
- Lead digital transformation initiatives within the finance function and implement finance, logistics and procurement processes across branches and regions
- Implement best-in-class financial processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Stay current with emerging financial solutions and their potential applications
Data Analytics & Business Intelligence
- Leverage advanced data analytics tools and methodologies to enable data-driven decision making across the organization
- Utilize predictive analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Transform complex financial data into actionable business insights for executive leadership
Team Development & Leadership
- Mentor and develop regional finance team members to enhance their analytical capabilities
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance organization
- Lead training initiatives to enhance data literacy across the finance function
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across all organizational levels

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education & Professional Certification
- Required: Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification
- Preferred: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or similar advanced business degree
- Professional certifications in data analytics, financial modeling, or business intelligence are advantageous
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in senior financial management roles.
- Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and cross-functional initiatives in large, complex organizations.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, business intelligence, and advanced Excel/financial modeling. Also, Fluency in both written and spoken Nepali is required
Industry Expertise
- Telecommunications industry experience strongly preferred – understanding of telecom business models, regulatory environment, and industry-specific metrics
- Comprehensive knowledge of Nepal financial reporting standards (NFRS) and local regulatory requirements
- Experience with financial compliance frameworks and audit processes
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain finance in technology/telecommunications sectors
Core Competencies
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional initiatives and process improvements
- Fluency in both written and spoken Nepali is required.
