WORLDLINK PROVIDES FREE INTERNET SERVICES FOR EARTHQUAKE RELIEF

As a small initiation,Worldlink in association with Lumbini Net, organized the emergency communication centers in earthquake affected areas where people could use free wifi/make international calls and connect to their loved ones and access information with ease. Our camps were at Arughat, Melamchi, Nuwakot, Barabise, Charikot, Trisuli, Barpak , Dhadingbesi..The Internet Service Provider's Association of Nepal (ISPAN) was also a part of this program where internet and other services were provided shortly after the devastating earthquake hit Nepal.

WORLDLINK DISTRIBUTED RELIEF MATERIALS IN DIFFERENT AREAS
Worldlink's small effort to help out the victims in Tanglatar ,Jalbire, Sindhupalchowk (Ward No -4,5,9) left the victims with big smiles. WorldLink was the first team to reach Keureni Gau, Sindhupalchowk to distribute relief materials. Even though the journey was difficult the whole experience was fulfilling. We believe that instead of praying for Nepal, working for Nepal together will build our country soon.

We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than drop in the ocean. But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something.

PATAN DURBAR SQUARE CLEANING CAMPAIGN BY WORLDLINK FAMILY

It is true that our some of our treasured heritages have been devastated by the earthquake but instead of feeling pity and mourning the loss, we need to be resilenant and embark the journey of building Nepal at what has already happened.25 of our employees volunteered to spend the whole day sweeping and cleaning Patan Durbar Square. This might have been a small act but this definitely made a huge difference.

SERVICE EVEN WHILE STRESSED

We believe taking care of our customers is our first priority over everything else and we lived up to our belief during the time of chaos as well.Damaged houses and poles in parts of Sifal and Chabahil were hampering our efforts to fully restore our networks in the area. But regardless of whatever happened our team members worked relentlessly in order to restore services. Our team fixed cables damaged by debris from collapsed house near Shova Bhagwati whilst there were rescue workers in the background.

Every “Little” Helps...

As a token of deep appreciation, Worldlink is providing free internet service for CLEAN UP NEPAL, who has been actively involved in making cleaner and greener Nepal. We truly appreciate your effort.
