This Privacy Policy describes how the Worldlink Diagnostic Chrome extension ("the Extension") handles user data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The Extension does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal details.

The only data generated by the Extension are your speed test results (download speed, upload speed, and ping latency), which are:

• Generated locally on your device
• Stored locally on your device using Chrome's local storage API
• Never transmitted to any external server, analytics service, or third party

2. How the Extension Works

The Extension performs network speed and latency measurements by making the following network requests:

These are standard, publicly available endpoints commonly used for network connectivity and speed testing. No user-identifiable data is included in any of these requests.

3. Data Storage

The Extension uses chrome.storage.local to save your most recent test result so it can be displayed when you reopen the popup. This data includes:

• Download speed (in Mbps)
• Upload speed (in Mbps)
• Ping latency (in ms)
• Timestamp of the test

This data is stored entirely on your local device within Chrome's extension storage. It is never synced to the cloud, transmitted to any server, or shared with any third party. You can clear this data at any time by removing the extension.

4. Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties. Specifically:

• No data is sold to third parties
• No data is used for advertising or marketing purposes
• No data is transferred to third parties for purposes unrelated to the Extension's core functionality
• No data is used for creditworthiness or lending purposes
• No analytics, tracking, or telemetry services are used

5. Permissions Used

6. User Control

You have full control over your data:

• Clear data: Removing the extension from Chrome will delete all locally stored data
• Share results: The Copy, Share, and Save features are entirely user-initiated — no data is shared unless you explicitly choose to do so
• No accounts: No registration or login is required to use the Extension

7. Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The Extension does not collect any personal information from any user.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
