Skill and Responsibilities:
- Take care of overall electrical operation for the network infrastructure of WorldLink.
- Maintain and improve power uptime/performance.
- Prepare an annual plan along with a strategy for power equipment and resources required for the organization.
- Work on knowledge and skill enhancement of overall electrical human resources within the company.
- Ensuring the standards of power infrastructure for installations and maintenance.
- Work on Standard Operating Procedures for new deployment and maintenance jobs.
- Conduct site audits to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Should be able to take over the worst situation and resolve them effectively.
- Help procurement team technically for procurement of power products and accessories.
- Communicate and work with vendors for any issues encountered during operation and get a timely fix.
- Research and development for existing and new products to ensure cost-effective optimal performance of all power infrastructure.
- Monitoring the efficiency of electrical infrastructures/resources and driving improvement.
- Coordinate with local vendors for outsourcing services such as air conditioning, DG servicing, and other electrical work.
- Conducting Performance Management System evaluations of the electrical team.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with electrical operation in all sites.
- Implementing safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and safety of electrical systems.
Qualification and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 7 years of experience in ISP and telecom sector or similar field.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering principles, including power distribution, circuit design, and electrical codes and standards.
- Knowledge of the latest advancements in electrical technology and systems including rectifier systems, batteries, DG, UPS, cables, grounding systems, monitoring systems, cooling systems, split AC and PAC.
- Must have excellent leadership, team building and management skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with local, national, and international electrical codes and standards.
- Must have experience in planning, and preparing annual budgets.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members of other departments, region branches, contractors, and team members.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges that may arise during the operation of the electrical department.
